Tyax Resort is the ideal location for a genuine Canadian adventure. Whether you want a remote meeting/conference location where you can work as a team or meet clients with none of the distractions of the office or you prefer us to pull together a program of activities for your group to relax and celebrate, we have a solution for you.
Tyax Resort is located 155 miles or 5 hours driving time north of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We are also easily accessible from Whistler.
Glacier-fed lakes and spectacular mountain wilderness surround our first-class resort. There are no other resorts quite like it, as we are the largest modern log building in all of western Canada. Your clients will experience an elegant dining room overlooking Tyaughton Lake and the Southern Chilcotin Mountains, a large river stone fireplace and a lounge bar with music and games. Our chefs serve fine cuisine, either buffet style or a la carte. Meals are complemented by our extensive wine list, one that features wines from some of the finest vineyards around the world.
The resort houses a conference and games room, fitness centre, an outdoor hot tub and a sauna. There are also four modern log chalets nestled along the lakeside. They range from three bedrooms to a deluxe chalet with six bedrooms and it's very own hot tub on a deck overlooking the lake.
The resort rooms and the chalets together have forty-five rooms in total to accommodate 100 people. Our restaurant can seat one hundred and our lounge, ninety. There is free wi-fi internet access available in the lodge to keep you in touch with the office.
