Magnificent glaciers with deep blue ice rolling down into the valleys. Untouched peaks so far away from any roads that the only access is via floatplane or helicopter. Bald Eagles playing in the thermals above the high ridges. These are some of the scenes that draw us to the mountains. Places to escape the fast paced electronic age that we live in today.
By exposing our guests to some of the most wild, untouched, and remote parts of British Columbia, we find it leaves them with a true appreciation of the necessity to protect such places in the future.
This area is home to animals of all kinds, from grizzly bears to hummingbirds and it's the wild nature of this area that attracts us to them. They are special places that we must help protect. At Tyax Resort we are committed to leaving as small a footprint on the environment as possible. We believe that we are stewards of our mountains and it is our responsibility to help look after them.
