All guests of Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing enjoy unlimited free use of Canadian canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards.
Enjoy peaceful early morning paddles across a glassy Tyaughton Lake, when riveting glimpses of nature are in full abundance. There’s a good chance you’ll see beavers hard at work, bears patrolling the shoreline, deer or moose coming down for a drink, or the ever-popular bald eagle dipping down for an opportune strike.
This is a fantastic activity for guests who love the peaceful side of nature. Though morning paddle rides feature the most wildlife, an evening paddle is a perfect way to unwind after a day in the wilderness, before retiring to your suite to rest and recharge for the next day.
Note, guests must sign a waiver prior to using our watercraft.
Our Activity Coordinator is available at the front desk and is prepared to outfit you with equipment for bocce, croquet, and horseshoes.
