The Journey is Part of the Adventure

Your journey to Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is part of the adventure. Located near Gold Bridge, BC the resort is readily accessible by ground or air, yet remote enough to ensure a genuine wilderness experience.

Special Note: If you use Google Maps for directions, please be advised that they believe you should be taking the Highline Route, via Birken and Seton Portage.  While you CAN take this road, it is recommended you use our directions below.  The Highline is known as being a VERY adventurous route, and we do not recommend.

If you are driving, please note:

  • Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing does not have control of the status of road conditions. We recommend always checking DriveBC.ca before driving to Tyax and plan your trip accordingly.
  • Please be prepared to drive on long gravel roads with the appropriate vehicle and spare tire.  Some routes may require a 4-wheel vehicle. See more details below.
  • Rental vehicles may not be covered by insurance for the roads that lead to Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing.
  • There is NO fuel available at the Lodge. The closest commercial gas stations are in Lillooet and Pemberton. Self-serve fuel is available in Gold Bridge. Ensure you have plenty of fuel available during your trip.
