Tyax Lodge – Seasonal Operations Update

As wildlife and the blooming nature awakens the South Chilcotin Mountains during this summer time, our valued guests bring life back to Tyax Lodge. We are very grateful to resume lodge operations, and we very much look forward to welcoming you!

This summer, Tyax Lodge will be closed from Mondays at 11 am to Wednesdays at 1 pm for the duration of our summer season. This decision has not been made lightly, as we have worked tirelessly through this devastating economic climate brought on by the pandemic to bring our lodge back to the Tyax we know and love. Canada-wide it has proven difficult to hire the staffing levels necessary to provide the excellent service and hospitality that our guests deserve. Therefore, we have chosen to scale down our operations to ensure that the level of service offered to our guests meets and exceeds our standards.

At this time our lodge welcomes all guests regardless of their vaccination status. We highly recommend following the BC Government’s guidelines on wearing masks and social distancing, and we reserve the right to change our protocols as Government recommendations continuously change.

Our lodging: We remain open for lodge room reservations and self-catered chalet bookings Wednesdays to Sundays nights. We are no longer accepting new campsite bookings.

Our dining room and lounge: At this time our restaurant and lounge are open to our lodge room guests only. Reservations are mandatory. If you have an existing chalet or campground reservation, please contact restaurant@tyax.com as we are unable to confirm any dining availability for this summer. We are unable to take walk-ins at any time. Should you wish to visit us, please contact us on the day of.

Our Guest Services Team is available from Wednesdays at 1 pm to Mondays at 11 am at info@tyax.com or at 250-238-2221. For room reservations and requests please contact reservations@tyax.com.

Warmest regards,

Your Team at Tyax
