With close to 1 million acres (3,360 km²) of diverse terrain, we have an exclusive ski area that is 200 times larger than Vail and 10 times bigger than Europe’s largest ski resort, Les 3 Vallées. Here, you'll find everything from massive glaciers and couloirs to wide-open alpine bowls and perfectly spaced tree skiing. Tyax is located where the cool temperatures from the Chilcotin Plateau combine with moist storms rolling off the Pacific Ocean, resulting in up to 25 metres (82 feet) of annual snowfall! Even with all that snow we enjoy plenty of sunny days, averaging just one down day every two weeks. That means more bluebird powder days and epic skiing for you!
