Tyax Nominated in 3 Catergories at the World Ski Awards 2024
Exciting news - the World Ski Awards informed us that Tyax has been nominated in not ONE, but THREE categories:
- World's Best Heli-Ski Operator
- Canada's Best Ski Boutique Hotel
- Canada's Best Ski Chalet for our Spirit Bear Chalet
Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is the only heli skiing operation to be nominated in more than 1 category!
For the above categories, many of the 2024 nominees have participated in these awards for several years. Some buy ads to get votes and some even offer a prize that you can only win if you vote for them!
Being a new nominee, Tyax is definitely the underdog but we really, really, really want to win….and want to do it without any questionable tactics.
Not only do we want to win, we are worthy recipients of the awards. Our 1-group-per-helicopter format with Unlimited Vertical is the best format in the heliskiing industry. Prior to working at Tyax, I was the marketing director at several “small group” heliskiing operations and I can tell you that there are far more advantages of skiing with 1 group using the heli than multiple small groups. Plus, we include Unlimited Vertical in every package, allowing our guests to ski more, for free!
Did you know that guests booking the Platinum package basically get their own private heliskiing operation? The Platinum includes exclusive use of the Spirit Bear Chalet (which has an outdoor hot tub, a sauna, wine cellar), a private helicopter, guides, private chef, concierge, body workers, as well as return transfers between the lodge and Vancouver by helicopter! The Spirit Bear is a worthy winner of Canada's Best Ski Chalet.
